SWOL Opportunity: Multiple Opportunities

TS-2025-0044: GS-343-14, Management & Program Analyst, Compliance & Accountability

 

The selectee will serve as a program manager responsible for accomplishing major analytical studies and/or projects relating to substantive, mission-oriented programs of the Internal Revenue Service. The assignments involve complex programs, systems, or issues that are Service wide in scope.Duties include but are not limited to:- Meets with managers and executives within the Service to define the overall goals and objectives of the project.- Prepares action plans and schedules for various phases of project accomplishment, both short and long-range; ensures that plans are consistent with Service goals, schedules, and policies.- Prepares recommendation for resource requirements to accomplish the project; negotiates with managers of various components of the Service to obtain needed resources and support.- Establishes a system to review, control, and report on project status.

SWOL TS-2025-0045: GS-343-14, Management & Program Analyst, Career & Leadership Development

 

Applicant must have an expert ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing, with all levels of leadership (including IRS executives), plan, organize, and carry through to completion broad, long-term, analytical studies of mission-oriented and complex programs in many locations, with multiple business units and with no supervision. The selectee must be able to independently prioritize resources and meet (if not exceed) the level of demand for Career &; Leadership Development program areas. Specific responsibilities will include providing program support for the TS leadership programs - SMRP, FLRP, DM, XR, and CDP.Duties include:- Collaborate with TS Senior Management Team to develop and consistently implement the leadership programs within TS.- Provide status updates to TS executives on the health of the programs.- Prepare action plans and recommendations for resource requirements, negotiate with managers and customers to obtain resources, identify problem areas and determine how to resolve them, and deliver training sessions.- Brief stakeholders on mission critical topics related to all leadership programs. Prepare recommendations for process improvements.

Who Will Be Considered: Applicants applying for a temporary promotion must meet job qualifications and eligibility requirements (time in grade, one year specialized experience, no previous temporary promotions or details to higher graded positions exceeding 120 days in the last 12 months).
